Leo Burby of Portland State (28) looks for a pass against Great Falls.
A 2010 Central Catholic High School graduate has been chosen by his teammates as most valuable player of the 2015 Portland State University men’s lacrosse team.
Leo Burby, a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish, was captain of the PSU squad. He was named All Midwest Lacrosse Association Midfielder for the 2015 season and led his team in groundballs, assists, goals and faceoffs.
At 5’11” and 180 pounds, Burby was rated second out of more than 100 midfielders in the league. His ranking put him in the top 1 percent in the country.
