VANCOUVER, Wash. — Catherine Kroll, PeaceHealth director of infection prevention, has been named a national recipient of the Catholic Health Association’s Tomorrow’s Leaders award for 2021.

The award honors those who show a strong commitment to advancing the mission of Catholic health care. Kroll was recognized during CHA’s virtual Catholic Health Assembly in June.

In a year when infection prevention has been vital, Kroll has ensured the safety of patients, caregivers and communities, with a knack for community collaboration and safeguarding the most vulnerable.

Prior to joining PeaceHealth, Kroll served in public health at the local, state and national levels. She won the 2020 Senior Heroes Award for her dedication to patient safety for seniors in Clark County.
