To the Sentinel:
It’s been encouraging to read the letters to the Sentinel covering life issues. The letters point out the evils of abortion.
Obama professes to be a Progressive-Liberal-Secularist. This is why he maintains these pro-choice positions and states that his appointments to the Supreme Court will guarantee that Roe v. Wade will remain intact.
From the time of Christ, the church has preached against the evils of secularism. The latter either denies or mitigates the authority of God. In a short time there will be a defining moment for Catholics and all believers. Will we put aside worldly priorities, personal emotions and pop-culture in order to remain committed to the gospels and the teachings of our church?
