Marcella Evers

Marcella Evers died. She was 84.

Mrs. Evers was born July 11, 1929, in Perham, Minn., to August and Mary (Vandenberghe) De Clerck. She married Ignatius (Nash) Evers in 1948 and they moved to Verboort. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda. She is survived by her husband; children, Sandra, Kellen and Cary; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins.

A funeral Mass was concelebrated by Fathers Michael Vuky, David Schiferl and Scott Vandehey at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Verboort. In lieu of memorial donations, the family asks that Oregon registered voters sign the citizens’ initiative to stop public funding of abortions at www.Oregon2014.org.
