Steven J. Jasnoch, a member of St. Anthony Parish in Forest Grove, died June 8. He was 63.
Mr. Jasnoch was born Nov. 14, 1950, in Loup City, Neb. At the age of 6, he moved with his family to Banks. He graduated from Forest Grove High School in 1969. He married JoNell Sinclair in 1972, in Forest Grove. They lived in Forest Grove, Beaverton and Hillsboro until 2013, when they moved to Lafayette.
Mr. Jasnoch owned and operated S & J Residential Construction for many years until he retired. After retirement, he drove for Mid-Columbia Bus Company (Forest Grove School District). A lifelong member of the Catholic church, he was a member of St. Anthony, Forest Grove and St. Alexander, Cornelius. He also served in the National Guard for several years.
He is survived by his wife, JoNell Jasnoch, Lafayette; daughter, Jennifer Helton, Hillsboro; son, Jason Jasnoch, Beaverton; son Stephen Jasnoch, Newberg; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister Sharon Nielson, Independence; brother, Dennis Jasnoch, Hillsboro; sister Patricia Davisson, Portland; brother David Jasnoch, Beaverton; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held at St. Anthony Church in Forest Grove.
