Mary Baribeau died May 13. She was 92.
Mrs. Baribeau was born May 31, 1921, in Stockton, Calif., to Mary and Thomas Becker. The family moved to Oregon and she graduated from Mount Angel Academy. She was a civil servant for the U.S. Department of the Navy at Tongue Point, Wash., and married Ralph Baribeau in 1938. She was a homemaker, and worked at Stayton Cannery and as a resource assistant with the Bureau of Land Management for 29 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph and son, Thomas Baribeau. She is survived by her children, Robert (Michiko) Baribeau, Margaret (David) Gilbert-Atlhaus, Ronald Baribeau, John (Carl) Baribeau, Annette (Mark) Jensen; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m., Friday, May 30, at Weddle Funeral Chapel. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m., both at St. Boniface Parish in Sublimity.
