I worked with Laudie at the drug store in molalla while I was a teenager in the mid '70's. Our Catholic faith was our commonality. We would see each other at church and just smile. He was such a gentle man and always had a smile for every customer. As a nervous teenager his words of wisdom were always comforting to me. He even encouraged me to marry my husband, which we will be having our 38th anniversary soon. I will miss him.
