Jacqueline Miller, a member of St. Pius X Parish, died March 19. She was 79.
Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Seattle to John and Edna Eley. She graduated from Central Washington College in Ellensburg with a bachelor's degree in education. She married Bill in 1958 and taught elementary school in Yakima until they started their family. In the early '70s, she went back to school to study tax accounting, and became a licensed tax consultant in Beaverton. She spent the last 10 years of her career working in Metro’s accounting department.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Richard and Edward. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill; sons, Scott (Desiree) Miller, Vancouver, and Steven (Gina) Miller, Salt Lake City; daughter, Stacy (Nicholas) Jarmer, Tigard; nine grandchildren; sisters, Marie Rodono and Margaret O'Brien; and brother, Charles Eley.
