Peter Disciascio

 Peter Disciascio died Feb. 20. He was 89.

Mr. Disciascio was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Spokane to Nicholas and Madeline Disciascio. He married Patricia Mellon in 1944. He served in the Navy as a recruiter and veteran of three wars. He then worked at Prudential Insurance as an agent. Patricia died in 1996. He married Sharon Wisker in April 1999.

He had eight children, Peter (Barbara) Disciascio, David (Randi) Disciascio, Kathi (Jim) Donohue, Colleen (Ben) Lichtenwald, Molly (Justin) Bowman, Mary (Kevin) Weigel, Dani (Mike) Johnson and Dona "the Caboose" (Scot) Dykeman; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at St. Rose of Lima Church. Memorial donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
