Kenneth Floyd Yandle died Feb. 10. He was 89.
Mr. Yandle was born July 03, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to John and Minnie Lou Yandle. He graduated from Battle Ground High School, and served in the Naval Air Force during World War II. He graduated from the University of Washington and went to work for KING TV in Seattle. He married Maribeth Mergens in 1951. In 1956, he moved to Portland and helped establish KGW TV.
He is survived by his wife; children, Maureen, Mike, Jeff and Colleen; and grandchildren.
A rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, at St. Pius X Church in Portland. Memorial donations can be made to the Macdonald Center.
