Constance (Conrad) Muessle, a founding member of St. John Fisher Parish, died Dec. 27. She was 94.
Mrs. Muessle was born May 23, 1919, in Louisville, Ky. She married Stan and they moved to Oregon in 1945, where they helped start a family business, Conrad Veneers, in Tualatin.
She was a former member of St. Cecilia Church in Beaverton.
She lived in Southwest Portland for many years before moving to Mary’s Woods in Lake Oswego in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Peter Muessle. She is survived by her children, Stan (Elizabeth), John, Constance (Dick), David (Megan) and Brian; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Jane Dietrich.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, at the Chapel of the Holy Names, 17400 Holy Names Drive, Lake Oswego. Memorial donations can be made to Providence Hospice, 6410 N.E. Halsey St., Ste. 300, Portland, OR 97213.
