Christopher Pontrelli

BEAVERTON — Christopher Pontrelli, a former member of St. Cecilia Parish, died Dec. 13. He was 81.

Mr. Pontrelli was born Dec. 22, 1931, to Charles Ignazio and Benedetta Pontrelli in Los Angeles. He graduated from Franklin High School, enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1951, graduated from California State University and had a 25-year career in education. He married Nancy Caringella of Montclair, Calif., in 1961. He was also a life insurance salesman for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tino, Mike and Fidel; and sister, Catherine. He is survived by his sons, Charles (Tori) and Chris (Salpy); and five grandchildren.

A service will be held at 9:45 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 21, at Holy Family Church in South Pasadena, Calif.
