Grace Bauer

EUGENE — Grace Bauer, a member of St. Peter Church for many years, died Nov. 19. She was 90.

Mrs. Bauer was born Nov. 15, 1923, in Green Bay, Wis. She moved to Seattle and got married in 1945. She moved to Eugene and began a career in the banking industry after raising five children. She moved to Santa Clara, Calif., and married David Bauer after she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Bauer. She is survived by sister, Mariam Swanson, Florence; five children, Judy Welch (Larry), Eugene; Donna Roid (Gale), Vancouver, Wash.; Rob Hastings (Catherine), Houston; Gail Hickey (Rick), Medford; and Gregg Hastings (Pam), Gresham; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service was held at St. Peter Church.
