BEAVERTON — Kristine Kay Maneely, a member of Holy Trinity Parish, died Nov. 28. She was 65.
Mrs. Maneely was born March 7, 1948, in Salem to Cyril and Ida Jarvis. She attended St. Vincent de Paul School in Salem and graduated from Serra Catholic High School in 1965. She graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in mathematics and education in 1969. She taught junior high and high school math and science in Arizona, Colorado and Oregon (Oregon City and Beaverton). She returned to school in 1984 to earn a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Portland. She began her career as a usability engineer at Mentor Graphics, followed by Network General and Sequent Computer Systems. She capped her career with work in usability of electronic medical records at MedicaLogic/Medscape and GE Medical Systems.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John; son, Mark; daughter, Patrice Siravo (Brian); five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Nancy Allison; and brother, Joe Jarvis (Kathy).
A funeral was held at Holy Trinity. Memorial donations can be made to the Holy Trinity Parish Food Pantry.
