Beatrice McLellan

 Beatrice (Christie) McLellan died Oct. 24. She was 102.

Mrs. McLellan was born Feb. 18, 1911. She attended St. Mary's Academy and graduated from Grant High School in 1929. She married Bubs in 1937. She attended secretarial school and worked for nearly 20 years as an executive secretary for Dean Witter Reynolds (now part of Morgan Stanley).

She is survived by her children, Francis Xavier III (Carole), Ann Teresi, Duff Minor (Jay) and Elizabeth Quarrie (Brian); 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A memorial Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake in Lake Oswego. Memorial donations can be made to Central Catholic High School, Capital Campaign, 2401 S.E. Stark, Portland, OR 97214.
