Philip Frainey

Philip Martin Frainey died Oct. 30. He was 76.

Mr. Frainey was born May 5, 1937, in Portland to John and Beatrice Frainey. He graduated from Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1956, and served in the U.S. Marines. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom; and son, Bill. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann; two sons, Brian (Abigail) and Michael (Natalie); daughter-in-law Meg;  brother, John; sister, Beatrice Gabrish Burk; five grandchildren; and 12 nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 8, preceded by a rosary at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church. Memorial donations can be sent to Sacred Heart or St. Mary’s Home for Boys in Beaverton.
