Robert Hamilton died Oct. 11. He was 73.
Mr. Hamilton was born May 12, 1940, in Yuba City, Calif., to Louise Hamilton. He graduated from Yuba City High School in 1957 and received an associate’s degree from Yuba College in 1959. After college, he began working for the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue officer, before being drafted into the United States Army, where he served until 1965. He married Dianna in 1967. In 1977, they moved to Eugene, when he was promoted into management at the IRS. He became Portland’s branch chief in 1983, and the family moved to Beaverton, where he lived for 30 years. He retired in 1996, and worked at the Beaverton Home Depot until 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna; children, Julie, Patrick, and Valerie; four grandchildren; and siblings, Joan, John, Mary and Bill.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church in Beaverton.
