Myron LaHood died July 18. He was 96.
Mr. LaHood was born June 23, 1917, in Butte, Mont., to George and Bessie LaHood. He went to school in Butte, and joined the military after graduation where he played in the Army band. Afterward, he went to work in the Montana Mines, and then moved to Portland. He worked as a musician, playing clarinet and saxophone in many bands.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and five sisters. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, at 6:30 p.m., at St. Philip Neri Church.
