Thomas Grogan died July 6. He was 71.
Mr. Grogan was born March 11, 1942, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He moved to Portland when he was 13 and graduated from Grant High School in 1960. He worked for Sears, more than 30 years for G.I. Joe's as a buyer, as well as Oregon Glove and Coastal Farm and Home. He went on to work for Washington Shoe and Farm Boy/Farm Girl.
He is survived by children, Debbie Grogan, Milwaukie; Patrick Grogan, Portland; Michael (Tammy) Grogan, Milwaukie; Laura (Brian) Bongiorno, Cornelius; wife of 24 years, Marti Lankow Grogan; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 20, at Queen of Peace Church in Salem.
