Patrick Lynch died March 27. He was 63.
Mr. Lynch was born May 4, 1949, to James and Marietta (Mullett) Lynch in Portland. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1967 and Oregon State University in 1971. He married Merri Wilder in 1970.
He worked in government for the Borough of Anchorage, Alaska; and the cities of Corvallis, Eugene, Hillsboro, Prineville and Manitou Springs, Colo., the latter two as city manager. He was the executive director of the Special Districts Association of Oregon for 12 years; and at the time of his death, was the Director of Member Services at the Oregon Telecommunications Association.
He was preceded in death by his father Jim Lynch in 1996. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Merri; son, Todd (Christiane), Munich, Germany; daughter, Kimberly (Monte) Hampton, Sherwood; mother, Marietta Lynch; brothers, Mike and Jimmy; sisters, Meg and Mary; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 4, starting with a rosary at 10 a.m. and a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at Queen of Peace Church in Salem.
