CRESWELL — Frank Zerangue died Feb. 11. He was 91.
Mr. Zerangue was born on Sept. 21, 1921, in Arnaudville, La., to Oscar and Rose Zerangue. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps for three years in California and Oregon and the Army in India and China during World War II. He worked in plywood mills in Lane County until the 1970s, when he attended Lane Community College to become a licensed millwright.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Joyce; daughter Sheila Blackburn (Jim); a grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at St. Philip Benizi Church in Creswell.
