FLORENCE — Anna Grace Carroll died Dec. 5. She was 88.
Mrs. Carroll was born March 15, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was raised in Cleveland, and she married William Francis Carroll in 1946. They lived in the Terre Haute, Ind., area for 30 years, before moving to Washington. She worked for Weyerhaeuser in Federal Way, Wash., before she and her husband moved to Florence in 1989. They moved to Portland in 2012.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Baxter and Joseph Mengel. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, William; children: Nancy Carroll, Portland, Dan and Kathy Carroll, Portland, Kevin and Jnana Carroll, Florence, and Tim and Elizabeth Carroll, Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7, at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Dunes Church in Florence.
