Margaret Marie Wright died Dec. 5. She was 84.
Mrs. Wright was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her family moved to Portland when she was a child, and she attended St. Cecilia Grad School and St. Mary of the Valley High School, graduating in 1946. She also attended Portland Business School. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Federal Government and then at Tektronix in Beaverton, retiring in 1984.
She married Fredrick Wright in 1948. They made their home in Beaverton and had seven children. Later, she married Bill Winkler and they moved to Aloha, where she lived for the rest of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Winkler; her parents; and two siblings, Inez Widman and Bernard Leis. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Linda and Roy Gibson, Cornelius; Fred and Diane Wright, Rockaway Beach; Carol Wright and Mari Border, Portland; Michael and Robin Wright, Rockaway Beach; Patty Morgan, Battleground, Wash.; John and Cindy Wright, Hillsboro; Joseph Wright, Oakland, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A rosary and Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Matthew Church in Hillsboro. Memorial donations can be made to Birthright of Hillsboro.
