Elizabeth Fry

Elizabeth Louise Cavota Fry died Nov. 24. She was 72.

Mrs. Fry was born July 26, 1940, in Nome, Alaska to Theodore Frederick Cavota and Theresa Marie Luke. She grew up in Nome, and attended high school at St. Mary's Academy in Toledo, Wash. After graduation in 1959, she attended one year at Seattle University, then went back to Nome where she met her husband, Wayne Albright. She worked briefly in banking and later for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, but she spent most of her life caring for children or disabled. She lived in Portland the last 35 years of her life, the last 10 at Union Manor in West Moreland.

She is survived by three daughters. Michelle (Elie) Saad, Wendy (Ignacio) Santana and Sheri Ramey Jones; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Edward Church in Keizer, followed by a luncheon at the church and interment at Calvary Cemetery in Mount Angel.
