Bonnie Bartlett died March 3. She was 77.
Mrs. Bartlett was born July 22, 1934, in Nyssa. She attended grammar school in Alturas, Calif., and high school in Donnelly, Idaho. She married Elwin Bennett in 1954 in Nevada. They divorced in 1960. She married Theodore Bartlett on Dec. 23, 1986, in Canyonville. She worked as a childcare provider, hotel maid, waitress and line worker at Agripac in Eugene.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, and a son, Samuel Bartlett, in 2008. She is survived by five sons, Craig Wilmarth and Alan Bartlett, Springfield, Monte Bennett, Australia, David Bennett, Dorena, and Clifford Bartlett, Cottage Grove; two daughters, Cynthia Oakes, Junction City, and Brenda Spencer, Veneta; two brothers, Pete Fields, Donnelly, Idaho, and Rick Fields, Wieser, Idaho; three sisters, Shorty Spivey, Vale, and Shonna Gilbert and Sharon Burgess, Emmett, Idaho; 35 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at St. Alice Church in Springfield.
