Mark James Dombkowski died March 3. He was 64.
Mr. Dombkowski was born June 23, 1947, in Chicago. He grew up in Franklin Park, Ill., and attended Blackburn and Triton Colleges before joining the Navy in 1968. He was stationed at N.A.S. Miramar in San Diego where he met and married the love of his life, Anne Camacho, on Nov. 28, 1970. They were married for 41 years. He spent two tours of duty in Vietnam and after he was discharged in 1972, he moved to Oregon. He worked at Raygo Wagner for many years and retired from Connor Manufacturing in 2001.
He is survived by his wife Anne, Gresham; daughter, Kari Dombkowski, Gresham; sister, Phyllis (Ray) Christiansen, Aurora, Ill.; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and nine nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, March 9, at St. Henry Church.
