MILWUAKIE — Mary Theresa Jarmin, a member of St. John the Baptist Church, died Feb. 6. She was 85.
Mrs. Jarmin was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Medford. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1944. She worked for First National Bank in Medford for a year before marrying Lyle Jarmin in 1946. In 1969, the couple and their family moved to Milwaukie. She was a homemaker, and then later returned to work for Far West Federal Savings for five years until her retirement in 1985.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988. She is survived by daughters, Joyce Van Nostrand, Tahlequah, Okla., Linda Robins, Clackamas, Anita Brickell, New York City, Carolyn McCuaig, Portland; and son, William Jarmin, Portland; sister, Rose Widmer, Portland; brother, Arnold Widmer, Medford; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. John the Baptist Church in Milwaukie.
