In Mulieribus, conducted by Anna Song, presents the choral concert “In Natali domini: Christmas in Bohemia” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at St. Philip Neri Church, 2408 SE 16th Ave., Portland.

In Mulieribus (the Latin phrase means "amongst women") returns to its roots in music of medieval and Renaissance Europe in its sixth season, “Across Time and Space.” This year’s Christmas concert features works from the "Codex Speciálník," a 15th century manuscript from Prague, plus the 12th century "Viderunt omnes" by Perotin, along with pieces by Guillaume Dufay and others.

In Mulieribus is an eight-member female vocal ensemble with repertoire spanning Gregorian chant to modern commissions, but focuses on works written primarily before 1750. Each season, a portion of concert proceeds goes to benefit non-profit organizations. This year, the recipient is Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest.

Tickets cost $25 for premium seating, $20 general and $15 for students and seniors. They are available at www.boxofficetickets.com, at the door, or by mail to In Mulieribus, PO BOX 43, Portland OR 97207-0043. For information call 503-283-2913, or go to www.inmulieribus.org.
