Christ the King project to include outdoor space for gathering, prayer
MILWAUKIE — Every day, Christ the King Parish here faces the challenge of having too little space for its growing ministries. Meeting room is at a premium as people from the school, adult education, youth ministry, Knights of Columbus, the “Life is Sacred” group, peace and justice ministry, St. Vincent de Paul and others seek to carry out their work.
More cultures are calling Christ the King home. Filipino and Vietnamese Catholics hold large gatherings.
