The loft at St. Anthony Church in Forest Grove was remodeled recently to accommodate parish musicians. In addition to structural upgrades, the sound system was upgraded.

UO students dispel Planned Parenthood's misrepresentations
n Nov. 13, six students affiliated with the St. Thomas More Newman Center braved the rain at the University of Oregon student union plaza in Eugene. Their goal was to dispel misrepresentations reported by Planned Parenthood, which were shared on banners.

St. Agatha students serve
Seventy-six St. Agatha middle school students gave back to local and state community members in need by volunteering at the Oregon Food Bank this fall. Students, staff and parents sorted more than 5,000 pounds of pinto beans, adding ingredient labels and instructions on how to cook and serve.

Kids pick pumpkins for fundraiser
St. Andrew’s Youth Ministry members visited the pumpkin patch recently. Unlike many others who participate in this annual October tradition, these kids were there to work.
Every year for the past 10 years, organic farmer and St. Andrew’s parishioner Jim Bronec has donated two enormous crates of pumpkins. Proceeds from sales benefit the parish’s youth ministry program.

All Saints Parish and School will host an Oktoberfest from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2. The event launches a fundraising campaign for the construction of a new building in place of a condemned convent building, which will provide much-needed space for the school and parish.
