Medford school welcomes new principal
Along with new students and families, Sacred Heart School in Medford welcomes a new principal this fall, in time for the school's 150th year. Patrick Gross is returning to Oregon roots and reuniting with extended family in the Rogue Valley. His 24-year career in education has spanned the globe from Hong Kong to Saudi Arabia and Morocco.

St. Patrick deacon helps ID ancient oil lamp
Deacon Rob Page of St. Patrick Church has an unusual hobby.  He collects and studies ancient coins and artifacts. Recently the hobby led Deacon Page to help identify an extremely rare Christian oil lamp, when a Canadian antiquity company director contacted the deacon for help identifying symbols on the piece.
