Grant helps Stayton teachers with tech

STAYTON — The Pacific Power Foundation has given St. Mary School in Stayton a $2,500 grant to continue technological training for faculty. The money will be used to certify teachers in Google Google applications to enhance learning.

Doris Johnston, Pacific Power regional community manager, says the training “will have a direct result and impact on student success.”

Rick Schindler, principal of St. Mary’s, says he is looking forward to “helping students excel even more.”

Pacific Power Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Pacific Power.
