Relations chief named at UP

Laurie Kelley has been named vice president for university relations at the University of Portland. Kelley, who had been serving as interim head since last fall, will oversee the offices of Alumni Relations, Development, Marketing and Communications and University Events.

Before coming to UP, Kelley was the vice president of marketing and planning at Oregon Public Broadcasting. She has been featured in and written for Working Mother Magazine.  
Kelley and her husband Mike have four children. She has served on the boards of directors of the Blanchet House and Children’s Cancer Association. She currently serves on the board of Jesuit High School. She holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA, both from the University of Notre Dame.
