WOODBURN — On Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m., St. Luke School here will graduate 16 students. This year's graduates have contributed greatly to the St. Luke community, say school officials, acting as role models in moral behavior, lifelong learning, and Christian development.

Highlights of their eighth grade year included raising money and shopping for a Christmas toy drive, serving at St. André Bessette Church as part of the parish's hospitality committee, and traveling to Washington D.C. and New York City through Smithsonian. Nine students in the graduating class have attended St. Luke School since kindergarten, and four students will continue their education at Catholic high schools.
