Holy Family Parish and School start 2013 remembering the life of maintenance supervisor Keith Bunting, who died in December at 69.  A member the Southeast Portland parish, Bunting had worked for Holy Family for nearly 28 years, second only to Religious Education Director Vicki Ford.

“I remember Keith as someone who made people feel cared for and attended to,” said Christy Robinson, Holy Family School principal.  “He didn’t just care for our campus buildings, he cared for the people who worked inside those buildings, the students and coworkers who will miss him very much.”

“He was a jokester who loved to laugh,” said Bunting’s wife Darlene.  “Keith considered Holy Family part of his family, he really did.”

A prayer service honoring his memory was held in mid December at the church.  He is survived by his wife Darlene, three children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
