Program aims to awaken faith

LAKE OSWEGO — The Returning Catholic Ministry at Our Lady of the Lake Church invites inactive and semi-active Catholics to come together to discuss their faith.  The Awakening Faith program is structured to invite conversation and bonding between people.

Themes for the six core sessions include: “Spirituality: What’s the buzz?” “Who is Jesus?” Do we need the Spirit?” “Can I accept God’s mercy?” and “Can Mass make my life meaningful?” Additional sessions include: “Searching for love,” “Marriage, divorce and annulment,” and “Money and the treadmill of life.”

Awakening Faith sessions begin Wednesday, Jan. 9, and run through Wednesday, Feb. 13.  There are four additional weeks that are optional.  Sessions will be held in the parish center board room from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Our Lady of the Lake Parish Center is at 650 A Ave., Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
