KEIZER — St. Edward Parish purchased a new Nativity scene in 2011, which was unveiled for the first time last Christmas.

“Once put into place, the scene seemed to be a bit large for its purposed area,” said Bumpy Poole, faith formation coordinator. “But as the parish was discerning and planning to build a new church, they thought it would be a wonderful addition.”  St. Edward parishioners look forward to breaking ground on the new church soon.

“As we put the Nativity scene up this year, which, of course, is still too large for the area, we look forward to placing it in our new church,” Poole said.
