10/15/2012 4:41:00 PM St. Sharbel holds Lebanese fest
St. Sharbel Church hosts its annual Lebanese dinner from noon to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28, at 1804 SE 16th Ave.
Dinners are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12, and will include beef and chicken kabobs, rice, stuffed grape leaves, tabouleh salad, hommous and pita bread. A bake sale will feature a variety of Middle Eastern pastries.
This event is one of only two the historic church holds each year. Proceeds support property improvements and to repair unexpected repairs, such as an underground water pipe that disintegrated last year.
