The Indonesian Catholic Community of Oregon hosts a monthly Mass at St. Michael Church.
St. Michael, which historically served Portland’s Italian community, now hosts the Indonesian Mass at 2 p.m. every third Sunday. The parish, located next to the Portland State University campus, also serves many international students.
“St. Michael’s is a place not only for spiritual needs but for sharing multicultural knowledge,” said Helen Heller, a member of the Indonesian Catholic community.
