TIGARD — The Knights of Columbus recently sponsored the third annual Community Spaghetti Dinner at St. Anthony Church and School. Dick Kluempke and his crew worked all day to prepare the dinner. Catholic Daughters and Rosemarie Furrer provided the desserts, and more than 50 volunteers helped set up, serve and clean up.
The dinner raised $2,500 for the new St. Anthony community center. Groundbreaking is expected this year for the new center, which will feature a commercial kitchen, cafeteria/assembly hall, bathrooms and meeting space.
