Photographer Tom Hassler is featured in an exhibit called “Verbatim,” to run March 19-April 12 in Buckley Center Gallery on the University of Portland campus. The free exhibit focuses on words incorporated into photography.
“These photographs are a collection of visual puns and non-sequiturs, words in unexpected contexts,” Hassler says. “These are words in pictures which are meant to be read.”
Hassler teaches photography, digital processing and fine art printing around Portland.
Gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
