BEAVERTON — St. Cecilia Church hosted its ninth annual Crab Feed. Approximately 350 parishioners gorged themselves on 1,000 pounds of crab, 40 gallons of clam chowder, plus salad, coleslaw, roasted potatoes, and bread, all washed down with 10 cases of wine and two kegs of beer.

The event raised about $6,000, to be dedicated to help pay off the parish’s activity center kitchen.

Parishioner Bill Johnson coordinated the event, and members of the parish Men’s Club ordered the crab and prepared the dinner. Knights of Columbus staffed the bar and helped raise funds.
