Students at St. Anthony Catholic School continue to work hard on academics. Many  students participate in outside activities as well. These activities require the support of parents, for transportation, scheduling and moral support.

One middle school student at St. Anthony has been working hard at gymnastics. Spencer Goodell traveled to Colorado last month to participate in a Future Stars Meet at the Olympic Training Center. He placed 13th overall which qualifies him to make the Olympic Development Team.

Christmas was celebrated at St. Anthony School involving all students from K-8 grades. A pageant entitled “The Wonders of Christmas” was directed by music teacher, Jeanne Havlik. Agnes Zueger was the accompanist for the singers. All eighth graders participated with speaking parts, as well as the Nativity characters.Singing performances were also done by the Three Wise Men, complete with new costumes. The annual Christmas program is conducted each year to teach the students about the true meaning of Christmas and as a Christmas gift for their parents.

St. Anthony holds an open house called  “Discover Excellence in Education,” 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.
