St. Pius X School over the past 50 years has grown into a diverse school reflecting shared values and Catholic faith.

The school staff says it’s committed to academic excellence and developing a personal and active faith in its students.

This fall the school has added six new teachers to its staff to accommodate an increase in enrollment which has increased from 297 in 2010-‘11 to 336 in 2011-‘12.

The school is also welcoming new teachers. Nancy French – kindergarten, Mary Bogan – Second grade, Paige Lee – fifth grade, Christy Newell – fifth grade, Dane Conroy – seventh grade homeroom and middle school language arts, and Teresa Sebert – middle school science and math.

The school has also started a new family mentoring program which pairs each new family with a current one who helps transition them to the school. This fall the school welcomed more than 50 new families.

On Sunday, Sept. 11 the school celebrated the completion of their newly constructed gymnasium, renovated McMahon hall, and remodeled school building.
