Evangelizer to reach for Catholics and unchurched
Matthew Kelly
Matthew Kelly

Evangelizer Matthew Kelly is coming to Portland for an event called Passion and Purpose. He will be hosted by St. Rose of Lima Parish in Northeast Portland and also St. Pius X in Southwest Portland.

The eastside event will be at Central Catholic High School and will be opened in prayer by Archbishop Alexander Sample. Retired Auxiliary Bishop Kenneth Steiner will also be in attendance.

The mission aims to reinvigorate faith, help the Holy Spirit move in one’s life and reach those on the fence, including agnostics and fallen away Catholics.

Proceeds from the events have gone to create a confirmation project available for free in all U.S. parishes.
