UP to host workshop on spirituality, conflict

The University of Portland will host a workshop on spirituality, conflict and administration 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, April 11 in the executive boardroom in the Bauccio Commons on campus.

The free workshop will be presented by Ann Garrido, author of Redeeming Administration, and associate professor of Homiletics at the Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis. She is also the director of the Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. A three year grant project led to her current work on meditation and conflict.

The presentation explores the spirituality of administration and the pursuit of a life of virtue in leadership roles, while maintaining a healthy sense of balance in life outside of work.
