Our charity can't spark entitlement
We must remind ourselves that the enforcement of just laws is a form of holy discipline and is an act of justice that serves the common good.

Respect for Bob P.
In my years of association with him, I learned he is a gift of God’s grace and charm.

Ode to our retired editor

Should have picked Art
A vote for Art Robison would have been a vote for real hope and change. He is a Christian, a scientist and an educator. He believes in term limits.

Lawbreakers ought not be rewarded
As a lifetime 83-year Catholic, I voted no on Measure 88.
