Nothing wrong with tattoos

To the Catholic Sentinel:

Deacon Owen Cummings’ statement that tattoos are “not against Holy Scripture or teaching of the Catholic Church‚“ is reasonable. Tattoos can be a glorification of, or enhancement of, the human body, hardly different from daily make-up, jewelry or pierced ears. They can be body art or personal memorialization of a life event or closely held belief, at the very most.

I agree Ginger and none of the letters regarding tattoos have even been in line with church teaching. I think we find the conservative and older generation that have failed to educate themselves on many a subject whining,
