How will our views be heard?
|Archbishop Lorenzo Baldisseri|
To the Catholic Sentinel:
Asked at the Nov. 5 news conference whether that action was something other bishops’ conferences should emulate, Archbishop Lorenzo Baldisseri said the “question answers itself” and was “not worth considering.” The archbishop said that pastors were expected to provide summaries of the views and experiences of parishioners, and that their findings would be “channeled” in turn through national bishops’ conferences for ultimate consideration by the synod.
I assume that by Archbishop Baldisseri answering the way he did that we, too, will have an online questionnaire to submit replies to; is that correct? Also, will we be informed by our diocese as to the results of the questionnaire for our diocese?
