We must have good catechesis
Catholic News Service
Dominican Sister Elena Marie Piteo is assisted by Director of Novices, Sister Anna Grace Neenan, after being clothed in the black veil, which is the sign of her religious profession at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, Tenn. Twelve novices f rom the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia made their first profession of vows at the cathedral.
To the Catholic Sentinel:
The repeated insistence that the Church places too much emphasis on sinful and immoral conduct is confusing. The Church is delusional if it thinks a mere change in tone will have a healing effect. The Church has lost two generations of souls through poor, or nonexistent, catechesis. It should waste no more time and no more generations to such cowardly devices.
It is no accident that in this country, the greatest renewal of Catholic faith and Religious vocations is in the most conservative and traditional dioceses. The very ones who routinely do the things the Church leadership now complains about.
Our children are entitled the truth about Catholic doctrine.
